The Community Infrastructure Levy is charged on new properties and extensions to properties by the planning department of Rother District Council, to assist funding improvements to the parish infrastructure needed to cater for the resulting increased usage. Rother District Council releases a percentage of any funds received to parish councils twice a year in Spring and Autumn. The parish council has no advanced knowledge of the sums involved and when these will be received. There is a time limit of 5 years from receipt for the funds to be expended.
As a result the parish council completes a CIL report to Rother District Council around December each year for the previous financial year. Please see below for these forms which are also available on the Rother District Council website.
